The free bus service across our valley is an excellent way to explore the villages during the summer months. With well-positioned bus stops and a regular, efficient service, it’s easy to leave your car at home.
Morzine
There are four lines running through Morzine this summer and the bus service runs between 25th June and 30th August.
AU Line (Avoriaz Urban) – This connects Le Pleney to the Prodains cable car, passing through the Savoie and Pied de la Plagne roundabouts, then serving all the stops located on the Route des Putheys and Route des Ardoisières. This line is equipped with bike racks.
E Line (Erigné) – This starts from Pléney and joins the Vallee de la Manche, up to Lac des Mines d’Or.
D Line (Udrezants) – This serves the Bois Venants road and the hamlet of Udrezants.
Petit Train – From 15th July, this connects Pleney, the tourist office and the swimming pool. It operates daily and it’s a very pleasant way to travel around the village, especially with children.
Montriond
The M bus line connects the Ardent telecabine with the Nyon telecabine this summer, between 1st July and 31st August.
M Line – Runs from Ardent, through Montriond village, into Morzine and along the Vallee de la Manche as far as the Nyon telecabine and back again.
M-Bis Line – This follows the same route but takes a small detour through some of the smaller hamlets of Montriond before continuing in the direction of Morzine or Ardent.
Les Gets
There are two routes through Les Gets during the summer season, beginning on 26th June and ending on 30th August
F Line – This loops the centre of the village before heading up the Chavannes side of the valley
G Line – This also takes a loop of the village, visiting the Lac des Ecoles and then the Perrieres sector
Petit Train – This operates between Lac des Ecoles for easy access to the Wibit and Alta Lumina and the village centre
Further Afield
The Balad’Aulps bus is a wonderful way to explore the outlying villages of our valley. Priced at just €1.70 per person per journey, it’s excellent value.
