Roc d’Enfer Resort Guide

Tucked away in the Vallée d’Aulps, just a few kilometres from Morzine, Roc d’Enfer is one of the quieter corners of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area.

The atmosphere is relaxed, traditional and family-friendly, with a ski area that is big enough to keep intermediate skiers entertained but compact enough to explore without spending your entire holiday navigating lifts. And there is one particularly special attraction: the 20km Tour du Roc d’Enfer, a spectacular circuit through the mountains and forests which takes you right into the heart of the area.

Roc d’Enfer by Numbers

Spread across the two villages of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps and La Chèvrerie in Bellevaux, the resort offers something rather different from the big-name Alpine destinations. Here, skiing is surrounded by forests, open mountain pastures and spectacular views, with the dramatic Roc d’Enfer peak providing the backdrop.
