MORZINE BIKE PARK OPENING DATES, TIMES & PRICES

• Pre-opening weekends from Friday 6th June to Monday 9th June 2025
• Continuous opening from Friday 13th June to Sunday 14th September 2025
• An extended mountain bike area including the Charniaz chairlift will open between Saturday 5th July and Sunday 31st August 2025
• Morzine’s summer luge, accessed via the Crusaz chairlift will be open between Saturday 5th July and Sunday 31st August 2025
• The Nyon telecabine and Pointe de Nyon chairlift will open between Saturday 5th July and Sunday 31st August 2025

What’s new in Morzine Bike Park this summer?

Not content with expanding the bike park in the direction of the Charniaz lift and beyond this summer (more on that tomorrow), you’ll discover a brand new Skills Bike Park by Velo Solutions at the top of the Pleney this season.

A Skills Bike Park is for everyone, from the smallest beginner riders taking their first turns to adults looking to perfect their technique. This is a fun, safe zone served by the existing Nabor and Viking magic carpets to make access super easy. The route has been designed with a gravel or dirt surface to replicate Morzine’s famous mountain trails but includes technical and challenging modules to improve skill and confidence.

In further news, there’s now a 1-day beginners mountain bike pass that includes an up and down on the Pleney Télécabine plus unlimited access to the magic carpets for a whole day. It costs just €18.50!

Summer 25 lift pass prices – Morzine

Aside from buying a ‘full area’ Portes du Soleil summer lift pass (scroll down for prices), it’s possible to buy summer lift passes exclusively for Morzine bike park and the summer lift network. Here’s the prices based on making your purchase at the summer lift pass office at the base of the Pleney or at Nyon. Note that children under 5 years old do not need a lift pass.

Morzine Swimming Pool Opening Times

Located in the centre of the village, Morzine’s swimming pool complex offers hours of fun during the spring and summer seasons. Entry is also included in the MultiPass scheme, so that’s a bonus too!

Spring Opening: From Monday 26th May to Sunday 29th June

Monday to Friday, 12noon – 7pm
Weekend opening from 10am – 7pm
From Monday 16th June the large outdoor pool will also be open on Wednesdays and at weekends, weather permitting

Summer Opening: From Monday 30th June to Sunday 31st August

Monday to Friday, 9am – 7pm
Weekend opening from 10am -7pm
All of the pools will be open, subject to weather conditions

LES GETS BIKE PARK OPENING DATES, TIMES & PRICES

• Pre-opening weekend from Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June 2025
• Pre-opening weekend from Friday 6th June to Sunday 9th June 2025
• Continuous opening of the bike park between Friday 13th June and Sunday 14th September 2025
• Opening of the Mont Chéry telecabine for bikes and walkers between Friday 20th June and Sunday 31st August 2025

Summer 25 lift opening times – Les Gets

*High season is 5th July to 31st August 2025, low season is from opening until 4th July and from 1st September until the closing date in 2025.

Summer 25 Lift Pass Prices – Les Gets

As in Morzine, it’s possible to buy lift passes that are uniquely for the Les Gets summer lift network. These are available at the Office de Tourisme, at the base of Mont Chéry and also at the Chavannes lift pass office, as well as online, in advance.

*Note that the multiple trip options are valid for 18 months and can be used by several people. Note also the family passes are for 2 adults and 2 children. Children under 5 years old do not need a lift pass.

AVORIAZ BIKE PARK OPENING TIMES, DATES & PRICES

• Much of the Avoriaz lift network opens in advance of the summer season to host the Pass’Portes du Soleil event. During this weekend (27th – 29th June) the Prodains 3S, Super Morzine, Zore, Seraussaix, Chaux Fleurie, Prolays and Ardent telecabine will be open between 7.30am and 6pm
• Continuous opening of the Super Morzine trail area (that’s the Super Morzine telecabine, Zore and Seraussaix chairlifts) from Friday 13th June until Sunday 14th September 2025
• Continuous opening of the extended bike park area, including Proclou lift and trails, Chaux Fleurie and Prolays between Saturday 21st June and Sunday 31st August 2025
• The Prodains 3S connecting Prodains bus station and Avoriaz will be open from Friday 27th June until Sunday 31st August 2025
• The Ardent telecabine, in addition to the Lindarets and Mossettes chairlifts will open continuously between Friday 27th June and Sunday 31st August 2025.
• The Super Morzine telecabine and the Zore chairlift will stay open until 7pm on Fridays between 11th July and 22nd August 2025 for late night riding on the trails

Summer 25 lift opening times – Avoriaz

Note that dogs are allowed on all of the summer lifts in Avorriaz, but they must be tethered and are the responsibility of their owner

Avoriaz Bike Park offers an enormous playground for those who don’t wish to buy an entire Portes du Soleil summer lift pass.

*Note that the prices in the table below are for the 2024 season,

Note that a ‘passage’ is either an ascent or a descent.

ARDENT TELECABINE

There are also special rates for the Ardent telecabine during the summer months.

Portes du Soleil MTB Lift Pass Prices Summer 2025:

These are the prices for passes purchased online, in advance. You can expect to pay a few euros more when you purchase your MTB pass from the lift pass office in each resort.

* The 5-day nonconsecutive pass includes days that must be used within the Summer 25 season
** It’s €3 for the handsfree pass
*** MTB passes for children under the age of 5 years are free of charge, but you must get them a pass and provide proof of age

Les Gets Swimming Lake Opening Dates, Times & Prices

The Lac des Ecoles swimming lake in Les Gets is a perfect way to spend a day in the mountains with stunning views to enjoy at the same time.

It’ll open for supervised swimming from Saturday 28th June 2025, closing on Sunday 31st August 2025. The Wibit water park will also be open during these dates, check back for times and prices.

The Big Events

The UCI Mountain Bike World Series returns to the Haute Savoie this summer. 1,200 athletes from 57 counties will arrive in the region to compete in this huge celebration of mountain biking. The Cross Country and Downhill events take place in Les Gets between 4th and 7th July and we’ll add the full calendar to this page soon.
