If you’re tired of all this winter nonsense and you’re longing for a blast about on your bike, then worry not. Summer is just around the corner. It must be… as the Morzine summer lift openings have just been announced.
Although there’s no ‘official’ information on the Morzine Office de Tourisme website so far, here’s what we know…
– The new Pleney bubble will open on Saturday 14th June
– Each bubble will be equipped to carry 3 bikes, that’s a capacity of 900 bikes an hour
– The Super Morzine bubble will open on Friday 27th June, as will the rest of the Portes du Soleil’s 24 lift network for the Pass’Portes du Soleil.
As you’ll no doubt remember, Morzine’s neighbour Les Gets opened every weekend last summer from 25th May. Although no closing dates have been announced, the Morzine lifts closed on 1st September last summer.
