Released yesterday and currently doing the viral rounds, this stunning technology shows Mont Blanc in all it’s glory – it’s almost like being there! And at 365 gigapixels, the image is the largest picture ever taken. To put that into perspective, if there were a printer large enough to print the finished image, it’d be the size of a football pitch.
It took the team led by Italian photographer Filippo Blengini, over 2 weeks of shooting to collect the pictures for the in2white project. The photo required 35 hours of continuous shooting to capture 70,000 pictures, followed by 2 months of post-production.
