Quite a bit!
The Grande Odyssee
The best mushers in the world take part in the Grande Odyssee, a long distance husky race which arrives in Les Gets on 15th January. The stage departs from the village centre and follows a two hour circuit over Mont Chery and Mont Caly before returning to the resort and heading over Les Chavannes. There’ll be lots of themed shows and events in Les Gets during the Grande Odyssee.
Digital Treasure Hunt
New for this winter, Les Gets has established a digital treasure map, on snow, across the ski area. Skiers and snowboarders solve riddles and take part in challenges on their smartphone to complete the course. You’ll find more information at lesgets.com/glisse
Mont Chery Snowpark
A local’s favourite because of its relatively quiet pistes and stunning views, the Mont Chery snowpark is set for some serious improvements this winter. There’ll be rails, boxes, kickers and other freestyle modules, topped off with a 15m x 11m airbag at the bottom of the park, which skiers and snowboarders can use free of charge.
L’Apreski Bar
After making a huge mark on the Les Gets après scene last winter, L’Apreski Bar is planning to do things bigger and better this season. You’ll find the bar at the bottom of the home run in the village centre. You’re likely to hear their stream of live bands and DJs before you see the bar however.
