If you’ve enjoyed the many pleasures of The Stash this winter and you’re in the area on Friday 20th June, then the mountains need you!
Did you know, it takes between 100 and 1000 years for that empty coke bottle you tossed off the chair lift to decompose? And your fag ends? Between 2 and 15 years… If you care about the hills that we all call home, then here’s the details you need:
DATE: Friday 20th June
TIME: 10am
WHERE: Meet at the bottom of Express Prolays lift in the Lindarets bowl (yes, you can drive up there)
Gloves and bin bags will be provided, and remember to wear weather appropriate clothing. Stew Monk of Reelfunmedia will be filming the clear-up and producing a nice video to promote the resort’s eco conscious ways, while the team from Avoriaz Snowzone are planning a BBQ at the end of the clean-up to thank everyone who turned out to help.

“In conjunction with mountain-days.org, our aim is to host an event that brings everybody together to increase awareness of the impact rubbish has on the mountains, and how people’s behaviour concerning their rubbish can be changed.”
