The most clever Fraser Wilkin (@fraserwilkin) has just published an article on the ‘welove2ski.com‘ website which carefully but very clearly gives us a snow report for Morzine Avoriaz winter 2012
You can take a read through the article in it’s entirety by clicking here, but here’s my summary below:
– Avoriaz is the neighbouring resort of Morzine – the two resorts are commonly referred to as ‘Morzine-Avoriaz’
– A mild, dry end of summer and autumn across the Alps caused concern for the coming season. When would it snow?
– Winter finally announced it’s arrival with massive snow dumps across the Alps in December
– France’s snowiest resort last winter, with a staggering 8.6m of snow was Avoriaz
So, (friends and family in particular) if you needed further convincing that your winter ski holidays should always take place in Morzine-Avoriaz, there you have it.
