15,821. That’s how any votes were cast in this year’s Source Awards over the last two weeks – a huge thank you to everyone who got involved and took the time to vote for their favourite local business!
This is the third year of the Source Awards for Excellence, and our aim from the beginning has been to give holiday makers the chance to recognise their favourite local business in one of four categories – favourite food, favourite customer service, favourite bar and favourite accommodation. We received almost twice as many nominations as last year and we hope that the awards will continue to be a rewarding but fun end of season event for the local community.
At this stage of the awards, we usually send the three businesses with the most votes in each category through to our secret judging round. However, following a meeting with our five (totally independent) judges this morning, they’ve requested that the top four businesses in each category go through to the final round due to the high volume of votes cast and the number of nominations made in each category. They’ll use the comments made on nomination forms and a couple of other (top secret) sources to pick their winner, which will be announced at 3pm on Tuesday 4th April at the Source Suppliers Show at the Domaine du Baron on Lake Montriond. Everyone is very welcome to attend the presentation!
