A while back we posted this amazing video (scroll down…) showing the proposed new lift connection between Morzine centre and Avoriaz. Since then, a couple of new images of the proposed base station development have surfaced indicating new parking areas and suggesting that the plans are moving forward?
The plans have been under development for a while, but finally there’s word on the new ski lift that will connect Morzine and Avoriaz. The project has the title ‘1 town, 2 resorts, 1 future’ and will connect the centre of Morzine with Avoriaz, via the new Prodains Express base. New parking areas will also be created in Morzine, near to the base station.
This video shows you the exact plans for the two resorts, and includes some excellent graphics to demonstrate exactly how the new lift stations will work.
