These are the faces you hope never to see; the heroes you hope never to meet.
Come freezing temperatures, snow storms or blistering hot days, they’ll turn out to search for you at the drop of a hat, day or night. Their knowledge of our local mountains is unsurpassed. They risk their own lives to save yours and they do this as volunteers. These are the faces of the Secours en Montagne Vallee d’Aulps.
We’d hoped to screen this short film as part of our European Outdoor Film Tour event, but since such gatherings aren’t permitted at the moment, we’ve decided to release the film online instead in the hope that you’ll continue to support Secours en Montagne with a small donation.

HOPE was the idea of Morzine Source Magazine Creative Director Michael, and was generously funded by Origami Media, Skiidy Gonzales Airport Transfers, Alpine Property, Billski Ski School and The Cavern Bar. Michael worked with the incredibly talented Reuben and Polly Shaul of Story Crafters on the production of the film. Anything you donate will be passed on to Secours en Montagne in full.
At 8pm (Morzine time) on Saturday 27th February we’ll premier HOPE. We hope you’ll tune in to join us for the live stream, the full film will then be available to watch on this page.
