We’ve just spoken to the Office de Tourisme in all three resorts and here’s what they told us… Les Gets will probably open next weekend (Saturday 8th Dec) but a final decision will be made on Thursday 6th.
Avoriaz will definitely open, at least partially if not the full area, next weekend (Saturday 8th Dec) and lift passes will be priced at €16.50 per day, available from next Saturday morning in Avoriaz.
There are currently no plans to open the Morzine ski network early but with over 1 metre of snow forecast for the next week, surely we’ll see some action before the official opening on 23rd Dec.
