This Summer: Day Trips with Mountain Days Away

Obviously, here at Source, we love Morzine, Les Gets and the rest of Les Portes du Soleil, but we do understand that sometimes you need to get away – there’s a lot more to our valley and the surrounding area than just the mountains, after all. Did you know there’s actually a dedicated service to take the hassle out of day trips?

Probably the only thing stopping you from venturing further afield is your mode of transport; maybe you flew out on holiday, maybe you don’t want the hassle of getting lost and finding a parking space to mess with your day, or maybe you’re going for lunch with some friends and you all want to enjoy a glass of wine. Maybe you want to go to Italy but don’t want to fork out for a Mont Blanc Tunnel pass? Well, don’t panic because Mountain Days Away, Morzine’s resort transport service, is determined to get you to where you want to go.

Travel to Annecy, the Venice of the Alps, with Mountain Days Away

Started last summer, Mountain Days Away runs scheduled day trips to all the best spots within a few hour’s drive of Morzine. Whether you want to go to Evian and relax by the lake, explore Annecy’s old town, or spend a day in the sun at Excenevex Beach, these guys have got you covered.

The Mountain Days Away Summer 2018 Timetable

The brainchild of airport transfer veterans, Richard of A2Ski Transfers and Cred of Summit Transfers, Mountain Days Away is fully licensed and insured, and will transport you in beautifully-kept eight-seater (not including the driver) minibuses from just €25 per person. And if you don’t fancy one of their timetabled excursions? No worries, you can always book a custom day away – just drop them an email or give them a call.

All days out are scheduled to leave after breakfast and return to resort at around 7pm, leaving you plenty of time to make the most of your trip. This summer, the guys are running a special deal: if you book three seats, you get a fourth seat for free, so get in there! Go sightseeing, have a bit of fun and don’t stress about transport.

This summer, Mountain Days Away is also running one-off trips down to Annecy for the Etape de Tour and stage ten of the Tour de France, and they’ve got plenty of space to transport your bikes, too! Get in touch for more details.
