The Mairie of Morzine has arranged a solidarity gathering in memory of the victims of the Charlie Hebdo shootings in Paris earlier this week to demonstrate that the village of Morzine defends the values of freedom of speech and the values of the French republic. As many people as possible – residents, ex-pats and holiday makers are encouraged to attend.
The gathering takes place on Sunday 11th January from 5.30pm with a rally that commences outside the Office de Tourisme and finishes outside the Mairie.
