Built as a traditional timber frame chalet, only the highest quality materials have been used to blend alpine charm with contemporary design. It is your refined alpine hideaway with a personal touch. The location offers seclusion without isolation, including fast access to the highest skiing in the Portes du Soleil, epic cycling from the doorstep and Lac Montriond or Montriond village only a stroll away. A free shuttle bus (Montriond Ardent lift) runs along the quiet lane in front of the chalet during winter and summer seasons, with a stop 250m away.
The chalet is comprised of five bedrooms and five bathrooms which can sleep up to 10 adults or 13 people including children (plus baby cots on request). Living areas offer a variety of spaces for relaxing whether fireside, at the bar, on the couch or enjoying one of the two home cinema set-ups.
The chalet is available for weekly rental all year around. Please enquire with any particular dates and we will do our best to accommodate you. Fine bed & bath linen, bathrobes, eco-friendly indoor slippers & toiletries, and mid-week housekeeping are included. Additional services may be arranged upon request (e.g. private chef, massage, lift passes, equipment hire, activities etc.).
“Chalet Grand-Duc is a veritable gem, set away from the crowds of Morzine but only a 5 minute drive from the main ski lift to Lindarets (easier access than via Avoriaz town) and into the Portes du Soleil ski area. The property oozes quality from the moment you set foot inside the chic reception floor. We had a wonderful weekend and Tom was a fantastic host. Our highlight was definitely the hot tub overlooking the valley after skiing. We would love to come back in the Summer for hiking and mountain biking!”
