At Berchen we design and craft our kitchens & furniture with the welfare of our planet in mind. We construct our cabinets from FSC certified, premium grade birch plywood. It’s strong, versatile and grown in abundance, and easily repurposed at the end of each product lifecycle. We offer a choice of finishing materials which are more considerate to the environment and an exciting alternative to more commonly used laminates: Forbo Furniture Linoleum is an elegant, warm, matt textured surface which is made from 98% natural materials and actually captures carbon during its production process; Fenix Bloom is very hard wearing, comes in a stunning range of colours and uses 50% less resin than other acrylic finishes; ALPI comes in an incredible range of reconstituted wood veneers which only uses timber from FSC certified and sustainably managed forests.
We have developed two core kitchen ranges:
Craft kitchens: Craftsmanship and durability are key to our classic “Craft” range, which features mitred in-frame cabinets, exposed birch plywood edges, swoon-worthy detailing on drawers and doors and top-quality hinges and runners. As trends come and go, your kitchen will remain a reliable beacon of style in your home.
Create kitchens: Contemporary frameless cabinets and wow-factor finishes define our “Create” range. This collection is perfect for those that appreciate super fine design and functionality. Featuring European style cabinetry; a huge choice of classic or colourful finishes and a selection of handles and door styles.
