The introduction of the new breath-test law for drivers in France has been delayed indefinitely. Under the new plans, all drivers in the country had to carry breath-test kits in their vehicle or face an €11 fine. The new law was supposed to come into force on 1st November 2012 and was then delayed until 1st March 2013 because of breath-test kit supply problems. The new rule has now been delayed indefinitely while the French Interior Minister consults on the best was to cut drink driving in France.
