Back in December we compared the early season snow depth in Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets to previous years. So what’s January looking like? Back in December Morzine was having it’s best start to the season since Winter 08/09, with December snow depth on upper pistes measuring 110cm. Les Gets had it’s best start to the season in over five years and in Avoriaz it was the same story, proving that early season skiing is massively underrated! And it seems to be the same for January too. There is currently more snow on the upper slopes of Morzine and Avoriaz than in any other January in the last five years. Enjoy it!
