Having moved to Morzine on a 1-year career break in 2009, Amie never returned to Blighty and instead started Morzine Source Magazine in 2012 to promote the very best of our valley. Being the mother of two small boys with endless energy, Amie can often be found enjoying the peace and quiet of coffee shops in order to get some work done.

Chloe has lived in Morzine on and off for the past seven years. She loves skiing, mountain biking and all the other good stuff the mountain are known for, as well as writing about them. Chloe is currently training to be a ski instructor alongside working as a freelance writer.

Alice used to be a journalist for the BBC in Manchester before moving to Morzine 4 years ago with her partner Brian. She loves everything about the mountains especially long distance trail running with her dog, Vince. She runs MADhouse theatre group for kids and adults and loves writing when she has a bit of spare time!

Founded in 2019, Montagne Verte is a volunteer led, results focused non-profit born out of a desire to future-proof Morzine in the face of the changing climate. It’s work can be defined by three pillars; Community, Business and Infrastructure. Funded by the community it serves and operating on a grassroots level, it strives to demonstrate to potential of people power.

Daniel is a London-based freelance ski journalist and founder of Snowcarbon, an independent guide to travelling to ski resorts by train.

Gareth started out with Alpine Property in 2000, a year after it's inception. That year there were 3, now it's a team of 18 that covers the whole of the Haute Savoie. His role started out as basic admin and IT support. Now he's a partner in the business responsable for marketing and IT. Gareth has always maintained that he came to the mountains for the outdoor life. Skiing was not the main draw to the area. In those days that marked him out slightly. Now it is the norm. Gareth is also qualified in France as a Mountain Leader and an MTB guide. Prior jobs include Police Officer in Leeds and an Oil Worker in Aberdeen!

Tim is the owner of LGS. He lives in the area all year round and has spent most of his ski teaching career in Les Gets. On his days off Tim likes to go ski touring. In the summer months he enjoys road biking and water skiing.
