Les Gets hosts so many incredible events over the winter, it’s hard to imagine them being able to fit any more in! But we were very excited to discover that this winter, not one, but TWO of our favourite summer events in Les Gets will be returning in the winter: The Lounge Music Festival and Les 100 Ciels.
Les Gets’ wonderfully laid back Lounge Music Festival just celebrated its 8th birthday. The Spring Lounge Music Festival is set to take on the same structure; a daily selection of musical performances spread out over Les Gets bars, restaurants and outdoor spaces, all for free. And the genre is in no way limited to lounge music! Taking advantage of March’s famously sunny weather, performances will range from chilled outdoor après gigs to sophisticated evenings of dinner accompanied by live jazz. Acts range from local talent to international artists, and the festival will also cross over with the last day of Rock the Pistes Festival, so we could even expect some piste-side concerts as well!
The Spring Lounge Music Festival will be on from the 22nd until the 31st March. The programme is yet to be announced but we’ll keep you updated!
Les 100 Ciels d’Hiver is another summer event that’s welcoming a winter edition this year. An event created by local yoga instructor, Barbara, Les 100 Ciels is a collection of workshops, classes, activities and seminars all focused around wellness. The premise is simple; just look at the programme and pick which classes and workshops you’d like to attend. There’s always a huge variety, ranging from kids’ activities to yoga classes and meditation sessions. The winter edition is set to comprise of both indoor and outdoor workshops that will complement the wintery conditions, and help you feel relaxed, energised and ready for anything.
Les 100 Ciels d’Hiver is set to take place from the 28th January until the 1st February. The exact dates and programme are yet to be confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted via our events calendar.
