The Mairie de Morzine-Avoriaz have launched a new campaign to find more furnished accommodation for winter season workers. It’s not news that our resort struggles in terms of seasonnaire accommodation each winter and many local businesses find it harder and harder each year to house their staff.
In response to this growing problem, the town’s housing committee is making a huge list of private housing that could be offered to season workers across the valley.
Property owners are given detailed information and support to secure payment for the 5 months of the winter season and make detailed inventories of their property before new tenants move in. It’s hoped that property owners who no longer have the time or resources to manage a weekly holiday rental will join the new scheme.
If you’d like further information about joining the scheme to let your private property to season workers in Morzine or Avoriaz, contact the CCHC (Community of the towns of the Haut-Chablais) by e-mail – firstname.lastname@example.org or call +33 (0) 6 43 37 70 62.
