This Week: Carte Neige Insurance
This week for those who still haven’t bought their ski insurance for the season, then you might want to think about getting insurance from the Vieux Camper store down in Thonon (no, I’m not getting any commission from them…).
I bought their insurance card this summer, as it covers you not just for skiing but also for most mountain related sports for a whole year. The other benefit from buying your insurance from them is that you benefit from a discount (10 to 15%) every time you buy an item from their shop (conditions apply).
The shop is located on the main road from Thonon to the industrial zone, where Mac D’s is, on the left just before the roundabout.
For all the info about the insurance just go to this page – http://www.auvieuxcampeur.fr/assurance
It only costs 25€ per person for the basic cover or 65€ for a family of 4. You can add options at an extra cost for paragliding and snow kiting or if you are planning on going up higher altitudes or distances.
