In everyday language, a trapper (“trappeur” in French) is a professional hunter from North America who engages in animal trapping in order to get pristine furs. But “Les Trappeurs” is also a mountain restaurant located in the ski resort of Avoriaz at the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. The restaurant serves Haute-Savoie food and can be reached on skis or on foot via the Prodain cable car.
